I miss the fatherland (Texas) but you can't beat the riding here! CA has some good roads but the only place that beats the riding here (IMNSHO) is the Dolomites. Sweet mother of Mary!! Great roads, more hairpins than you can count, and cage drivers that actually give a S***.
