Dehydration can be very subtle in the dry air up there also. Similar to our California and Nevada deserts on that your sweat evaporates quickly so don't feel like you are sweating but you are losing moisture quickly. Unlike the desert it is not as hot and you don't even think you should be sweating, but you will be.
This is absolutely beautiful country with vistas that stretch for miles clear sky.
Down side is to MUCH to look at be careful to pay attention to riding!! LOL
One of the downsides to our mode of transportation better visability to see everything and smell it around you, less ability to look around and enjoy it!!
