I lost my Delphi receiver on the first day up to CCR somewhere on a San Antonio freeway. I had just left a gas station and had checked the unit to make sure it was locked and secured before I got on the freeway. I hit a bump in the road and it popped out and was instantly gone. Since it was dark (about 5:00 am) and I was doing about 75 mph, I did not waste time going back to look for it.

Regarding the XM units sailing down the asphalt. Mike Watts lost his on the way back home to S.A. Caught it once on the fly, but the next time it launched, it became an asphalt luge thangie. I think I'd think about some velcro somewhere strategically, or a mega-strong rubber band. Launching free falls could get a leetle expensive!!
