BMR Products Co-Pilot Mounting System^NEW

The handiest assistant for the K1200LT rider, the CoPilot is mounted firmly and vibration-free on top of the dashboard and is designed for a perfect match with the Garmin StreetPilot III™ range of GPS. All holes are pre-drilled and protected and provide access for component cables and the additional left & right accessory shelf mounts, K12CPL and K12CPR. Also shields the instrument panel from sunlight and the windscreen from the instrument lights at night. The K12CP is finished in a high-quality non-reflective matt black powder coat, color-matched to the black plastic surrounding the radio equipment on the LT.

RMH-Tech Dash-Lite Reflector Shield

The first product, the BMW K12LT Dash-Lite Reflector Shield, blocks any light from the dash gauges reflecting up into the middle of the windshield when it is in the lowered position at night. This really bugged me, so I just had to do something about it. The unit can also serve motorcycle as a radar mount, allowing the radar unit to be mounted anywhere along the top curve of the dash. It actually helps block sun reflection (depending on your position) during the day, and in directing sounds from the speakers back to the riders. The shield is mounted on the top portion of the dash with 7 screws, and takes approximately 1.5 hours to mount. All hardware and detailed instructions are provided.
